My art has been described as “Remington meets Warhol”. Using oil paints, I try to express my fascination with the endless skies of Oklahoma and Texas, the loneliness of the cowboy, and the innocence of farm animals. I love color and use lots of it. Once I think there is just enough, I add more. First using a brush or palette knife, I usually complete the painting by scratching away some oil to show the bright tonal underpainting below. I am truly living my life dream by expressing myself through art.
